New Terror

I have a new figure in my night terrors. It’s a man in a leather jacket and a baseball cap, but he has no face. Instead, colorful triangles flash and move around where his face should be, as if it were a television screen.

He walked through the wall and stared at me from the foot of my bed.

He is the newest of six reoccurring figures in my nightmares and terrors. He doesn’t have a name yet.

I should probably start documenting these figures. I don’t know what he means.

Read something, twice. If it doesn’t read the same both times, you’re probably dreaming.

He came to me in my dreams.

A week later, he is gone.

I need more sleeping pills.

I need to start seeing somebody about these parasomnias. I need to sleep.

disclaimer.

The situations in this blog are all true in the sense that they are actual experiences and perceptions, retold to the best of my memory. The beings and characters in these stories are only real in the sense that they are manifestations of my sleeping mind. They are NOT real in the sense that I believe in the physical presence of demons, spirits, or other otherworldly things. All references to the characters as actual, living figures is merely for convenience and simplicity… After all, what is reality if not what the mind perceives?
